History: He comes from a rich southern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He keeps his black hair in a flapper bob. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. The war was a terrible time for him, and Laucian does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Laucian was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
