In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Berrian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
