He prefers to carry a falchion, but if one is not available he will default to his rapier. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Arannis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
