Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Stableman. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Lucan enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the south to a Spice Merchant, Erdan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spice Merchant.
