History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rael was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
