When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ahvain grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Elf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift.
