History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Uthemar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Uthemar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Koeth is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Koeth has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
