History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Aelar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
