History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Uthemar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Uthemar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Uthemar and his spouse have recently divorced.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
