He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Interpreter business.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. He has done his best to style his blonde hair to look like a famous performer. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Mindartis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
