Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gennal embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gennal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Gennal was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gennal's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Beiro hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gifted student he started as a Assassin, but he got bored and became a Navigator. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.
