He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. During his travels, Efferil and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Efferil discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Efferil fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
