He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: He stands about 4'11" and wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. He wears a colorful flower in his black hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Mindartis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Adran was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Adran's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
