Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his bastard sword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. He keeps his white hair in a flapper bob. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Naal's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Naal was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Elf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
