History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: He got into the Cook business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a cook and was forced into it by his family
