Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.

His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Heian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
