Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born in a small desert village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Thervan took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and doesn't want to be a engraver and was forced into it by his family
