Personality: Varis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
