History: Born to a Sage, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Born in the south to a Sailor, Gennal learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
