History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Adran is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
