Description: This slender man stands about 4'7". He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has a long blonde beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. History: Born in the south to a Ploughman, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
