History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Naal abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Naal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
