History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Banker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Banker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'9" when asserting himself. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Rolen isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Rolen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
