His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Peren hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
