He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his father struggled to pay the bills. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. After a long history of fighting, Ahvain and his spouse have recently divorced.
