History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Spy. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spy. He became a Spy soon after.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and sabotage a competitor
