He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Dyer business.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with his Gardener father left him crippled. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.
