History: Nim was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Uthemar was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. After a long history of fighting, Uthemar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
