Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Varis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and many gnolls want him driven away

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Quarion was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants revenge against goblins
