History: Ahvain was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age his mother died while driving off some orcs. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in pickaxe use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Naal was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Through the years after Vanuath was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Vanuath's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
