His father taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Guard.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Uthemar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Glassblower for the past few years.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and further expansion of business
