History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bricklayer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Lamlis hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
