He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Arannis has worked very hard to control his curse. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
