History: Born to a Performer, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Varis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He wears his white hair up. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
