Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His white hair is matted, messy, and big. His ears are large.
Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is a great chef.
History: Gifted from a young age, Aelar studied abroad. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and money/treasure

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy black stubble. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He has a hunchback. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His eyes are violet and catlike.
Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with yellow colored cloaks and clothing. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
