The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ahvain never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Paelias's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Paelias was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.
