History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A freak accident while working with his Ploughman mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
