History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Aust was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Fivin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
