History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Varis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Varis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He worked as a nervous Fletcher and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fletcher for the past few years.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fletcher and was forced into it by his family; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
