History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He found a children's book about a Elf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion
