Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He has never given up on his painting dream.
