He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Rolen's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Beggar born in the past three hundred years. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Hunter, but he got bored and became a Beggar. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.
