Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Ahvain began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a Junk Dealer soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Junk Dealer responsibilities is difficult.
