History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Ahvain and his spouse have recently divorced.
