Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. His hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. His half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arannis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arannis. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arannis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born in the east to a Detective, Halimath learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Halimath fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This younger middle-aged man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
