Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He uses divination through singing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Varis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He's also a talented Mayor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
