He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the west to a Crown-heir, Azaki learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Theren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He now owns his own business.
