However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Naal grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate.
