History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Thervan wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Wizard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Thervan was born with his father's beautiful face. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
