Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. He became a Ploughman soon after.

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He wears his white hair up. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson black hat.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Raer is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Raer was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Raer's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
